Of course I have New Year’s resolutions. I do write a fitness and diet blog.
In all their awesomeness, here are my 2012 New Year’s resolutions!
…to run twice a week, either in my neighborhood with my dog or on the treadmill at the Y.
…to go to yoga every Saturday for the rest of my life!
…to cook healthy, homemade meals more often – at least five nights a week. I need to build up my recipe page!
…to waste less food.
…to vacuum more often…
…to go for an afternoon walk during my lunch hour five days a week.
…to take the stairs at work every day even in heels all the way to the fourth floor.
…to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, or frozen… I really can’t be picky.
…to start a spring garden. This means I actually have to rake my lawn and sweep my driveway. I live near too many trees.
…to draw and paint again.
…to read all my new books!
…to get more high fives. (I saw this on Twitter and smiled.)
I suppose I will be able to accomplish these goals. I might never pick up a paint brush again, but doodling will definitely happen at school. I might never start a garden in our current house, but I will rake up the leaves.
I want to lose 10 more pounds, but that sounds hard. And I might not be able to do it. So I don’t want to set a goal I won’t meet, and then get depressed about it.
Let’s just say that I want to lose 10 pounds, but it’s not one of my goals. I want more high fives more than I want to lose 10 pounds.
Good luck on your resolutions this year!
