Ouch! My shins hurt!

On Tuesday, Ashley R. and I walked to the stadium, but did not climb stairs! I was elated… until she made me sprint.

My shins hurt. I don’t know why; I don’t have shin splints… or whatever they are… and have never had a problem with my shins hurting in the past. I probably should have stretched them… but that begs the question: “How in the heck do you stretch your shins?”

Unfortunately, I did not do any workout this morning and ditched my girl (who did a couple fartleks without me). I know, I know, I suck. And I wish I had a good reason, but I don’t. I stayed up too late working on my paper and presentation, ate really late at night (or early in the morning) and slept until 11 a.m.

Gah.

Good for me, though, that I have started my presentation! Yay! Right? Oh, come on! Be happy for me! (I’m almost done!)

Summer cannot get here fast enough. If I’m not bikini-ready by June, that’s fine, because I’ll be bikini-ready by September (crossing finger, knocking on wood, spinning around three times while praying – I don’t know where I got the last one). Of course, I probably WON’T be bikini-ready because it is just not in me to wear one.

Sigh.

I suppose today I took a moment to blog about my failures (although I’ve yet to mention the doughnuts), and take a break from studying.

Although, my friends, I have to get back to the grind. My books are beckoning…
