With Respawn working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, they've essentially got the weight of the entire Star Wars license on their shoulders. Fallen Order finally emerges on November 15th.

Gotham and Shameless star Cameron Monaghan was also introduced at the Fallen Order panel as the voice of Cal. Monaghan also provided the motion capture for Cal, including his lightsaber movements. Cal is one of the last surviving Jedi Padawans, basically a Jedi apprentice, after the massacre caused by Order 66 which saw Jedi being hunted down as traitors.

Be sure to check out our immediate reaction to Jedi: Fallen Order from the Star Wars Celebration showfloor. A story trailer, viewable above, showed off a bit of Cal's journey, his efforts to keep a low profile, and what happens when his powers are discovered. People have been picking apart many aspects of the trailer, including that of its story, characters, and settings, but one of the most contentious topics at the moment is the original owner of the protagonist's damaged lightsaber, which is said to be "iconic". To help him on the way is one of Cal's companion's Cere along with other familiar faces.

Assisting the primary antagonist known as Second Sister are the Purge Troopers: elite, heavily-armored soldiers.
