Tottenham's Alli should face City, doubt for Huddersfield

Heung-min Son, the hero of the first leg, will start on Wednesday after being rested against Huddersfield, and Lucas could well start too after this magnificent performance, with Dele Alli also doubtful having broken a bone in his hand during the first leg.

Harry Kane has been sidelined for up to three months with an ankle injury sustained during Spur's Champions game against Manchester City on Tuesday. "I am more optimistic for him to be available for Manchester City in the second leg".

When asked whether he believed Kane could return this season, Pochettino said: "We'll see, there is five weeks, it is going to be hard".

Kane usually recovers quickly from his ankle injuries and may target the semi-final in the Nations League against the Netherlands on June 6 as a return date or the final of the Champions League on June 1 if Spurs can somehow make it there.
