Airline issues causes delays at Quad City and Eastern Iowa airports

Travelers are still seeing the impacts of a technical glitch that triggered flight delays at BWI Airport on Monday.

Eastern that several airlines experienced issues with a flight planning weight and balance program called Aerodata. United Continental had about 150 regional flights delayed.

Alaska Airlines said on Twitter that they are working on a solution.

A similar issue hit airlines last week when the computer system Sabre suffered an outage.

Southwest and Delta are among at least five major airlines reporting systemwide computer outages Monday morning that delayed hundreds of flights.

The FAA has now said the situation has been resolved - but the above airlines are all experiencing residual delays.
