LeBron James' 31-point night against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday put him ahead of Michael Jordan on the NBA's list of all-time points leaders, upped his case for greatest player of all time vs. Jordan and even earned praise from M.J. himself.

Sitting courtside with his family including his son, 2 Chainz was ecstatic to watch the magic happen but it's what he did afterward that's got people talking.

"You guys have no idea what MJ did for me and my friends growing up", James told reporters after the game.

Should his athleticism carry James past those numbers, one can only imagine the kind of chains 2 Chainz will be around to bestow!

James is among the last active players who were old enough to witness Jordan lead the Chicago Bulls to six championships in eight years during the 1990s. Jordan reached his scoring total in 1,072 games over 15 seasons.

May Accused of Buying Brexit Votes With $2 Billion for Towns
Last week, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said the party would back a public vote to prevent a "damaging" Tory Brexit or no deal. Another £600 million will be available through a bidding process to communities in any part of the country.

Ajax knock Real Madrid out of Champions League
The blame game, of course, doesn't end there, as many of Solari's weaknesses as a manger were known before he was given the job in the first place.

IAF's 12 Mirage 2000 Jets Bomb Pakistan with 1000 KGs of Bombs
A "non-military" missile strike? But at a rally in Rajasthan on Tuesday, the Indian leader did not mention the strike directly. In turn, India's Ministry of External Affairs has referred to incident as a "non-military" and preemptive move.

The first target for James is Bryant, who collected 33,643 points throughout his storied 20-year career with the Lakers. "He makes everybody around him better".

Past and present National Basketball Association players, including Magic Johnson, tweeted their congratulations to James.

James, a four-time MVP, is averaging 27.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game in his first season in Los Angeles. Since the injury, the Lakers have posted a record of 10-21.

Despite James' 17 points, the Lakers trailed powerful Denver 66-49 at halftime, seemingly headed to their fourth straight loss. There are three back-to-back games remaining on the Lakers schedule, so it's likely James will miss at least three more games and possibly more once they are officially eliminated from playoff contention. "Throughout it all, keep your head high, and you keep pushing forward".
