Ariana Grande won her first Grammy but wasn’t there to collect it

While the comic showed off his tattoo on Instagram, Grande took to Twitter to thank fans for her Best Vocal Pop Album win for Sweetener at the Grammys later that day.

"I pissed off the same man Ariana just called out for lying", she wrote.

Grande offered her account of the mix-up of Twitter posts, of which the above Tweet posted on February 7th encapsulates her position quite well.

Since pulling out of her scheduled performance at the Grammys citing creative differences, Ariana Grande and producer Ken Ehrlich have been locked in a battle of words.

Ehrlich went on to explain that he worked with Grande's management team and didn't speak directly to her, but insists that he wasn't trying to exert control over her performance.

Last week, Grande said Ehrlich lied about why the pop superstar wasn't performing at the 2019 Grammys in his interview with the Associated Press.
