As the second-leading vote-getter behind James, Giannis Antetokounmpo had the No. 2 overall pick in the All-Star Draft, which he used on Stephen Curry.

TNT host Ernie Johnson jabbed at James asking if he was sure he wanted Davis to be his teammate, to which he responded he was "very sure".

It was a cool idea, but for some, there was one problem: We had no idea when the captains selected everyone to be on their teams.

Davis, Irving and James were also teammates in the 2018 All-Star Game, though in that instance the three were starters. Thompson reportedly may have interest in signing with the Lakers this summer should matters with the Golden State Warriors go a bit wayward. James took Wade, his former Miami and Cleveland teammate and longtime close friend.

Davis told the Pelicans he wanted a trade, and James has made it clear that he'd love to play with him.

The two teams will meet in Charlotte on Sunday, Feb. 17 for the All-Star game.

With the first pick of the draft, James drafted Durant (again).

"You took my guy". Because at the end of the day, I'm still an all-star. When Antetokounmpo took Simmons minutes before, James used an expletive and exclaimed, "You took my guy!"

After the draft, James traded Westbrook for Simmons, a fellow Klutch Sports client, so Lillard will team up with both James and Simmons, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, Davis, Thompson, Aldridge, Towns, Beal and Dwyane Wade, who was a "special selection" along with Dirk Nowitzki, with the remainder of the players making up Antetokounmpo's team.

Prior to the draft, Antetokounmpo said that he planned on pairing Westbrook and Embiid together on his roster to help simmer their on-court rivalry, but he wasn't done there. Instead, the player nicknamed "The Greek Freak" wound up with a notable amount of global players on his roster, including Embiid, Nowitzki, the Nuggets' Nikola Jokic and the Magic's Nikola Vucevic.

Antetokounmpo said he took George for one reason: "He had a huge dunk on me", Antetokounmpo said, tipping his cap to the slam that the Thunder star threw down last month.
