Even as a 19-year-old rookie, Dallas' Luka Doncic continues to make his case for an NBA All-Star spot.

Nick Nurse said the Raptors had difficulty knocking Doncic off his rhythm.

When the Raptors pulled to 101-99, Doncic answered with a long 3 to reach 30 points for the sixth time this season.

Kawhi Leonard is already one, and came through to spoil Doncic's career-best game Sunday night.

It seems like very few teenager National Basketball Association records will stand until Luka Doncic turns 20.

Doncic once again turned the fourth quarter into his personal highlight reel, scoring 13 points, including a coast-to-coast dunk that gave Dallas a 99-93 lead.

Guardiola wants Silva at Man City beyond 2020
City's bench against Burnley , for example, contained Aguero, David Silva , Raheem Sterling , and Leroy Sane . However, Guardiola told his players to embrace the chance to play plenty of games and compete for trophies.

As a team, the Mavericks shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 36 from the 3-point line but this win was about their defense as they held the Pistons to just 41 percent shooting and only 16 points in the fourth quarter.

Doncic tallied a career-high 35 points in the win, adding 12 points and 10 assists for his second triple-double this season.

But Toronto missed its first 10 shots of the second half and had two defensive 3-second violations in the first 5 minutes of the half.

Dallas will look back at their poor free-throw shooting (23 of 34) as being a fatal flaw.

Harrison Barnes backstopped Doncic with 14 points and 6 rebounds for Dallas, which remained on the outside looking in the playoff picture in the West at 12th place behind a 22-27 card.

Dallas Mavericks undoubtedly have been very great in their game scoring three major wins from the eight games they scored. The Raptors increased the lead to 13 in the second quarter and led 70-58 at the break.
