After a poor half season on loan at Valencia, Batshuayi will want to prove himself again in the Premier League.

Chelsea have no interest in helping their bitter London rivals find temporary cover for the injured Harry Kane, but will consider permanent offers matching their £35 million valuation of the Belgium global in the final hours of the window.

Crystal Palace are racing against the clock to complete a permanent deal for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to Sky Sports News.

Batshuayi is still technically on loan at Valencia but has been frozen out of the first-team picture in recent months.

"So they can't take another player on loan".

The report claims that Batshuayi is seen as a decent addition to the Toffees but they can not sign him on loan.

Everton are interested in Michy Batshuayi and Chelsea are keen to sell him - but only if the Toffees meet their valuation of £35 million for the Belgian.

Loan deals with the pair are reportedly agreed, however, Football London claim that Batshuayi has his heart set on joining Tottenham after they made a late move to express their interest in signing the 25-year-old.

In 2005, Frank Arnesen left his role as sporting director at White Hart Lane to move to Stamford Bridge, and then in 2013 Spurs were close to signing Willian only for Chelsea to usurp the deal at the last minute.

A number of clubs including Real Betis, West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with moves for Batshuayi but it looks as if Palace have moved to the front of the queue.

"But we are being told that is not going to happen".
