‘Mortal Kombat 11’ The Reveal Livestream

Sonya Blade is being voiced by WWE star Ronda Rousey.

Rousey only did voice work for the game and included one of her infamous catchphrases, per her site.

We have yet to see other staples such as Jax, Reptile, Quan Chi, or Kung Lao, as well as numerous more prominent new characters from Mortal Kombat X like Jackie Cage, Kung Jin, Takashi Takeda, and D'Vorah, but there's quite some time between now and the game's release.

WWE had a huge presence at the event to celebrate the Raw Women's Champion's involvement in the project, including of course Rousey herself, the New Day's Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, and Andrade's valet, Zelina Vega.

At the Mortal Kombat 11 Reveal event, eight characters were confirmed for the roster so far, including fan favorites Sub-Zero and Scorpion.

Mortal Kombat 11 will be unveiled in full at a special reveal event live stream later today. "Now instead of being the closest thing I can be to Sonya Blade, I am actually Sonya Blade".

At over 25 years old, the Mortal Kombat franchise has been building its lore for long enough. We are then introduced to a sinister new female character, Kronika, who appears to have the ability to manipulate time.

"Mortal Kombat is back and better than ever in the next evolution of the iconic franchise", reads the Steam description. Among their many big announcements was the reveal of a brand new playable character, Geras. The next trailer showcases some of the "most gruesome, over-the-top Fatalities in Mortal Kombat history".
