The placement of the three cameras is also something to look out for. The flash, cameras and mic are placed in a staggered design, which looks outright ugly (I say this now, but if it's true, I'm buying one without question #isheepgamestrong).

The camera setup will include three cameras in a triangle formation along with a hexa LED flash and a secondary noise cancellation microphone. However, it is likely that Apple's phones will not continue to grow in display size and that the iPhone XI in its two or three variants will not become even bigger than their predecessors.

However, we're still at least nine months away from Apple's annual iPhone reveal, so take these images with a pinch of salt. Two of them are vertically aligned while the third one is placed on the right under the LED flash.

Apparently this year Apple will be adopting the triple-camera setup on the iPhones. Suffice it to say, if you thought the camera bump on existing iPhones was noticeable, well, you may be in for quite a surprise when Apple officially reveals its 2019 iPhone lineup later this year. But it is something that was expected based on some reports from a year ago. Below the camera set up the Apple brand logo can be seen like any other previous iPhones. Yay or Nay? The 3D camera would be able to create 3D depth maps by measuring the time it takes light to bounce off things in a scene. That said, it remains to be seen if the iPhone XR - which reportedly isn't selling as briskly as Apple anticipated - will prompt Apple to adjust its iPhone naming or pricing scheme.

Apparently, the iPhone XI featured in these images is still in its Engineering Validation Test (EVT) phase.
