Cancer-striken Olivia Newton-John ‘has weeks left to live’

An earlier report claimed that the 70-year-old's health had rapidly deteriorated and that she was "clinging on to life" to see her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, get married early this year.

"The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated, to quote a very famous quote", Newton-John said in the short clip.

"I'm doing great and I want to wish all of you the happiest, healthiest 2019 that's possible and thank you all for your wonderful support for me and for my Olivia Newton-John cancer wellness centre in Melbourne, Australia".

Newton-John's original diagnosis came in 1992, when she found a lump in her right breast.

Olivia Newton-John was diagnosed with cancer for a third time in 2017.

"We have stated over and over again publicly she's feeling better", her social media manager, Randy Slovacek, told Australia's Herald Sun newspaper.

Rumors then spread on social media and tabloids that she had only weeks to live.

In September, the actress told Australian TV's "Sunday Night" that she was using modern medicine and natural remedies, including cannabis oil, to treat the cancer. She has managed to overcome the disease twice. "That's my goal" she said. "They help with pain, they help with sleep". "I'm treating it naturally and doing really well".

According to the Mayo Clinic, "After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women in the United States".

"A lot of cannabis my husband [John Easterling] grows for me in California, it's legal to grow a certain amount of plants for your own medicinal purposes", she said.
