The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday at the buzzer, and small forward Kyle Kuzma is pinning the loss on his shoulders.

James suffered a strained groin during the Lakers' 127-101 blowout road win over the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day.

James has never had this severe of a groin injury in the past. "If LeBron James is playing in that game it probably finishes a little differently".

"We are obviously not going to rush him back", said Walton, speaking during the Lakers' practice on Thursday morning. "That could be an injury where if you come back too early you re-injure it and then you're out longer".
