Jose Mourinho: I can't get more out of the Manchester United players

Jose Mourinho has warned his Manchester United players that they can not keep "shooting themselves in the foot" after rueing his side's mistakes on a chaotic night against Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Jesse Lingard secured a 2-2 draw just 75 seconds after a Marcos Rojo own goal put Arsenal back into the lead.

While Mourinho joked United scored all four goals, he said he could not fault the players' spirit against an Arsenal side who are now unbeaten in 20 games in all competitions.

His absence has brought to an end Xhaka's impressive streak of featuring in the past 65 league games for Arsenal, with the last game the Swiss midfielder missed coming in a 2-0 win over Hull City in February 2017.

United, who started with Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku on the bench, fell behind when David de Gea allowed Mustafi's header to slip through his grasp and cross the line 26 minutes in.

United were the better side after the break but they were struggling to pose much of a threat to Leno, with only a 30-yard strike from Rojo forcing the German stopper into any action.

Arsenal went back in front in the 68th minute, Lacazette being credited with the goal after Rojo's attempted tackle saw the ball ricochet past De Gea.

"The character we showed after going behind, to come back in that fashion is what we expect from this team", said Milner.

Candidates to Replace Mike McCarthy as Packers Head Coach
The blame goes on Mike McCarthy, and it's hard to see him remaining as the head coach at the end of the season. McCarthy was officially canned after Green Bay dropped yet another game to fall to 4-7-1 on the season.

Four minutes later the hosts levelled when Anthony Martial turned home Ander Herrera's cross after Bernd Leno saved Marcos Rojo's cross.

'When we are winning it was a good moment but they equalised very quickly then we got up after their two goals.

Mourinho said on Tuesday morning: "Look, against Southampton, three hours before the game, I don't know the team that is going to play".

However - like in the first half - United found an immediate equaliser.
