Mitchell leads Jazz past Celtics

Utah's Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 31 points, but the Jazz suffered their second straight defeat. Oladipo leads the Pacers in scoring with 21.4 points per game. I think that's the most important thing, and then over time, you just become more efficient.

First, the Jazz came out on the short end of a 113-107 verdict to the Sixers, playing their first game at Wells Fargo Center with Jimmy Butler in the lineup. Overall Boston shot 38.5 percent, not that far behind Utah's 45 percent...until you take into account that the Jazz took far fewer shots, and were thus picking their spots in a way the Celtics weren't.

Following Friday's game, Irving was asked by reporters what it's like when he has it going like that, to be in that type of zone. "Just went out there and hooped". He got his 20 points on 8-for-16 shooting, giving him a season-best three consecutive games in which he shot 50 percent or better from the field.

All season long, Kyrie Irving has been accused of thwarting his team's ball movement.

We can see that Gobert is not asking Mitchell to change his style of play but only to improve his decision-making skills. "I mean, you're not going to".

Boston scored its fewest points since a 93-90 loss at Orlando on October 22.

Early on Mothiba teed up Serero for a volley in the area, directly in front of goal, the Vitesse player miscuing over the bar. The Super Eagles opened the scoring inside 10 minutes of play before the host drew level just before the half time break.

Trump says he'll deliver answers to Mueller questions next week
He said: "You have to always be careful when you answer with people that probably have bad intentions". The investigators don't care "how many lives they can ruin", he wrote.

Grassley rejects calls to probe Whitaker appointment at DOJ
Democrats and others fear Whitaker's appointment could jeopardize Mueller's probe of Russia's role in the 2016 USA election. The president's legal team and aides have pleaded with him for months to avoid writing Twitter posts about Mueller.

And when it was over, a frustrated coach Brad Stevens was saying the Celtics "have to build a tougher team mindset than we have". Jayson Tatum (10 points) was the only other Celtic to reach double figures. "We talked after the last time we played (last Friday in Salt Lake City), and then he went out and had 27 (the next game in Portland)".

Kyrie Irving dominated at home Frdiay night to lead the Celtics to a 123-116 overtime victory over Toronto. "We're still not there yet". They were lottery picks in the 2017 draft - Tatum third to the Celtics, Mitchell 13th to the Jazz - and they've been friends since taking part in high-level camps for high schoolers years before. That's not to say Tatum and Mitchell wouldn't have succeeded under any circumstances; each has the kind of approach to the game that pretty much assures they'll find a way to be more than good. Mitchell blocked a dunk attempt by Hayward and Utah took it the other way for an alley-oop dunk by Favors from Geoges Niang to put the Jazz up 83-64 with 9:07 left to play.

Toronto could easily be 14-2 and coming off a pair of close, emotional victories.

"It felt like a grind", Davis said. While the Raptors looked every bit like the team they were supposed to be, the Celtics struggled out of the gate, with a wheezing offense weighing them down. There was a brief confrontation at midcourt that led to technical fouls on Boston's Marcus Smart and Utah's Joe Ingles.

The Jazz were also playing their second game in as many nights, and the fourth in a five-game road trip, but played like the fresher, hungrier team all night.
