If reports are to be believed, you could be in for another shock, as National Football League team Cleveland Browns want former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as head coach.

John Dorsey, the Browns' general manager, denied in a statement the team had discussed hiring Rice, but said the team is open to hiring a woman.

Ms Rice - who served as the state secretary during the second term of president George W Bush - is a notable Browns fan, but has no experience in professional sports. "One doesn't have to play the game to understand it and motivate players". Grassley rejects calls to probe Whitaker appointment at DOJ
Democrats and others fear Whitaker's appointment could jeopardize Mueller's probe of Russia's role in the 2016 USA election. The president's legal team and aides have pleaded with him for months to avoid writing Twitter posts about Mueller.

Admittedly, it seems unlikely that we'll see Rice wearing a headset on the sideline and drawing up Xs and Os next season - her contribution more likely would be ideas about leadership and organisation, both areas in which the Browns could improve. How can the Cleveland Browns out-Browns themselves next? She would also be the first former Secretary of State to do so. The Stanford graduate has been involved in sports on various levels for some time, serving as one of the inaugural members of the College Football Playoff selection committee, where she worked from 2013 to 2016.

Dorsey said interim coach Gregg Williams will be interviewed for the full-time position following the season.
