A family near Talma is grieving the loss of three children today, October 30, while another family is hoping their child can recover from serious injuries sustained in an early Tuesday morning crash involving four elementary-aged school children who were on their way to school. She stayed home from school Tuesday for a doctor appointment.

The investigation is still ongoing, so there is no information as to whether excessive speed or any other factor played a role in the crash.

"What do you tell your little brother when he just lost three of his children to someone's negligence?" he said, according to WRTV. That child is an 11-year-old boy.

Xzavier Ingle, his twin brother, Mason Ingle, both 6, and their sister, Alivia Stahl, 9, all died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.

"This has been a very hard day for our school family as we attempt to cope with the devastating loss of three elementary students and a critically injured middle school student.

You're not suppose to be smacked by a auto going 60 miles an hour", said Elgin Ingle. Investigators are interviewing the woman who was driving the truck.

State police told CNN that the 11-year-old suffered multiple broken bones and had to be airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Germany's Angela Merkel prepares exit plan after party's poor election showing
He said that it's important to avoid "long personnel debates" and restore people's confidence in the CDU as a governing party. Merkel has been in a hard position since September 2017, when a national election left her party without an overall majority.

The National Transportation Safety Board sent a team to IN to help investigate the crash, the agency said.

He said that the deaths happened in an area that had prompted complaints from parents because the students had to walk across a busy road.

The children's names have not been released. "We also had counselors and clergy available for anyone who desired additional support and we will continue to provide counselors as needed", the statement read.

Sgt. Tony Slocum called the accident a "terrible tragedy".

ISP allege Shepherd didn't come to a stop on S.R. 25 when the bus was stopped, killing three children and leaving another in critical condition.

"We don't see first responders shed tears at crash scenes very often, but there were tears shed today", Slocum said.

This was in the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation area.
