As OnePlus 6T comes with a few new features like in-display fingerprint sensor and a base variant with 128GB of storage, the device is expected to have higher price than the OnePlus 6.

Just a day after launching its new flagship, OnePlus is already making good on its promises. Although OnePlus's previous smartphones have been available in the country unlocked, the launch of the OnePlus 6T marks the first occasion on which the OEM offered one of its smartphone models in the collaboration with one of the country's carriers, which should greatly contribute to the brand's recognition. For starters, OnePlus has bumped the base storage to 128GB, with a 256GB variant also available for customers looking for more storage.

Running Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, the smartphone will be offered in 3 variants - 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. OnePlus 6T will debut in India at an event to be held at KDJW Stadium in New Delhi, that begins from 8.30 pm.

The India launch event will be live streamed exclusively through social media handles as well as official YouTube channel.

The smartphone will come with a bigger 6.41-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display on top in an 19.5:9 screen aspect ratio. Because of which, the company announced the USB Type-C version of the Bullets earphones.

Particularly on race and ethnicity issues which, far from being healed, have been exacerbated in our politics over the past year. In the segment, she asked, "What is racist?" Her live show was replaced Thursday and Friday with a pre-taped episode.

In terms of connectivity, OnePlus proudly highlights that the OnePlus 6T supports 42 global LTE bands along with 4×4 MIMO and Cat.16 LTE. It produces brighter images in low-light, with reduced noise, using a new HDR algorithm across a 2-second exposure, and splicing together the resultant up to 10 multi-frame shots together.

"Basically the camera team took this from a scientific approach perspective and they wanted to enhance the quality of low-light photos taken in dim lighting". Apart from the headphone jack, another major removal from the OnePlus 6 on the OnePlus 6T is the missing LED notification light - the company says the "lift-up display" will allow users to conveniently read notifications from the lock screen, negating the need for an LED light. For selfies, it gets a similar 16MP f/2.0 front facing camera that supports Portrait Mode.

OnePlus has claimed that OnePlus 6T has the fastest in-display scanner one has ever seen on a smartphone. Along with the in-screen fingerprint sensor, the smartphone sports face unlock feature.

OnePlus 6T will come with a bigger 3,700mAh battery inside backed by 20W fast charging.

Interestingly, this feature will also be available with the OnePlus 6 soon, thanks to a software update. The 6T also loses to features - a physical fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
