The jackpot is the fourth-largest in USA history.

Saturday's Powerball drawing would pay an estimated $750 million if a victor matches all six numbers.

The drawing comes on the heels of a near-record $1.5 billion Mega Millions drawing earlier this week.

The $750 million prize refers to the annuity option, paid annually over 29 years.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball is 1 in 292 million. Lottery officials said the winning tickets were sold in Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Wisconsin.
