In the segment, she asked, "What is racist?" Her live show was replaced Thursday and Friday with a pre-taped episode.

Rumors of a possible return to Fox News were firmly shot down by an informed and high-level source at her former network on Friday, who told DailyMail.com that Kelly 'is not coming back to any of the Fox News platforms'.

On Thursday, Megyn Kelly was sacked by NBC following her complaint on air that it used to be socially acceptable to dress up in blackface for Halloween. Social media condemnation was swift, and Kelly apologized to fellow NBC staffers later in the day and made a tearful apology on her show Wednesday.

"'Megyn Kelly Today' is not returning", a spokesperson for the network said. "I realize now that such behavior is indeed wrong, and I am sorry".

Having fired her agents, Kelly is now taking advice from three white men.

Foreigners Sell Saudi Stocks by Record as Khashoggi Woes Deepen
The development came shortly after Turkish president Recep Tayip Erdogan accused Saudi Arabia of plotting Khashoggi's murder. Turkish President Tayipp Erdogan is shedding light on his government's probe into the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

No NBC News executives or spokespersons have gone on record but they appear to be communicating through their network's stories while remaining anonymous. "When I was a kid it was OK as long as you were dressing up as, like, a character". "Because you get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface for Halloween or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween".

"While she apologized to the staff, she owes a bigger apology to folks of color around the country", said veteran NBC weatherman Al Roker, who is black.

She had an edge from the beginning of the offending segment, where she discussed Halloween costumes with a panel that included Jenna Bush Hager, Melissa Rivers and Jacob Soboroff. The two explained that in the USA, there is a long history of blackface used to mock and belittle black people. She's a good person, a wonderful mom, wife, sister, friend and human being. "She said something indefensible". And whatever her next destination is, let's hope she'll go back to her roots and do what she does best; sharp, sometimes biting, political analysis. Particularly on race and ethnicity issues which, far from being healed, have been exacerbated in our politics over the past year.

Kelly made her debut as NBC morning TV host on September 25, 2017, taking over the 9 a.m. slot of "Today" and saying she wanted viewers "to have a laugh with us, a smile, sometimes a tear and maybe a little hope to start your day".
