Melania Trump reveals her experience of online bullying

"I could say that I'm the most bullied person in the world", Trump said.

Trump also told ABC that she's been forthcoming with her husband about those she doesn't necessarily trust, saying "some people, they don't work there anymore".

First Lady Melania Trump has declared that she believes herself to be one of the world's most bullied people.

"We need to have really hard evidence ... if you accuse [someone] of something, show the evidence", she continued.

The president, in an interview on Thursday with Fox & Friends, was asked about why people he and his wife do not trust are still in his administration.

The discussion started with the First Lady's remarks, which aired Wednesday on ABC, in which she stated women need to provide evidence to back up claims of sexual misconduct.

Her experience with online harassment prompted her to start the Be Best campaign to fight cyber bullying. Because I remember you talking about this during the campaign. The FLOTUS also tacitly endorsed her husband and stepsons' call to support accused men as well.

The full interview, titled "Being Melania", will air tomorrow as an ABC special at 10pm EST (3am BST on Saturday).
