When asked what message she wanted to send on behalf of the United States, the first lady said her trip was meant to "show the world that we care".

However, social media users have been quick to mock the First Lady - questioning what it is she actually does beyond grabbing headlines with her outfit choices.

Everywhere she has visited during her trip across Africa this week, first lady Melania Trump has cradled infants and held children.

The stylish former model also said she did not always agree with her husband's tweets and shared her opinions with him directly, even though he did not always follow her advice. She also said she wished that people would focus on what she does, not what she wears, and then proceeded to pose for pictures in front of some of Egypt's greatest landmarks.

She said: "We've just completed an incredible trip. I'm glad that Judge Kavanaugh was heard", according to the Mirror. As she says, the campaign is "shining a spotlight on successful programs and organizations that teach children tools and skills".

When pressed on whether she believed Christine Blasey Ford, Melania remained evasive, but added, "I think all the victims-we need to help all the victims, no matter what kind of abuse they had, but I am against any kind of abuse or violence".

Mrs Trump's outfit choices have drawn considerable attention, as when she wore a jacket that read "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?" during a trip to visit migrant children who'd been separated from their families at the southern border.

Mrs. Trump is on her first visit to Africa and her first extended solo global trip as first lady. "It's very important that I express what I feel". And sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn't.

In her meeting with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and Egyptian First Lady Entissar al-Sisi at Cairo-based Presidential Palace on Saturday, Melania voiced her admiration for the Egyptian civilization.

Everything about her tour to Africa was flawless but her dressing while in Kenya is what has made her tour to Africa look bad. "That we care and we want to show the world we care".

Trump's donation of school supplies in Malawi, as well as her visit to an orphanage in Kenya, were part of a child well-being initiative called "Be Best", which she launched earlier this year.
