She is the third woman to accuse Kavanaugh, a US Court of Appeals judge for the DC Circuit, of sexual misconduct.

The Senate Judiciary Committee confirmed it was reviewing the new allegations after attorney Michael Avenatti, who also represents Stormy Daniels, provided a statement from his client, Julie Swetnick of the District, to the committee.

"I also witnessed Brett Kavanaugh behave as a "mean drunk" on many occasions at these parties", Swetnick said.

In yet another tweet, Avenatti said that his client is not Deborah Ramirez, the former college classmate of Kavanaugh's whose sexual misconduct claim against the judge was published by the New Yorker Sunday night. Fox News Chief White House correspondent John Roberts tweeted that he received a statement from Kavanaugh who said Swetnick's allegations are "ridiculous and from the Twighlight Zone".

Kavanaugh, in his prepared testimony for Thursday's Senate hearing, said he was "not perfect" in high school, drank beer with friends, but denied sexual assault. Avenatti has said he is exploring his own bid for the presidency as a Democrat.

"I don't know what happened to Ms. Ramirez, but her initial reaction was, 'I can't swear to this, ' and after six days of being with a group of lawyers, she got more certain".

I have no problem with Pogba - Jose Mourinho
To strip him of the responsibility seems petty, and won't help Pogba play any better. The 25-year-old was dispossessed in the move that led to Joao Moutinho's equaliser.

Brett Kavanaugh accuser to give evidence before Senate
It was not immediately clear whether the Republican-run Senate Judiciary Committee would agree to more talks with Ford's team. After Grassley set a hearing for Monday, Democrats demanded a delay to allow time for the FBI to investigate Ford's claim.

"I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their "turn" with a girl inside the room", Swetnick said in the declaration.

"I think all of us have probably done things we look back on in high school and regret or cringe a bit, but that's not what we're talking about". She claims both Kavanaugh and Judge were at that party, but does not directly accuse them of committing the rape.

Hundreds of protesters rally in the Hart Senate Office Building while demonstrating against the confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Capitol Hill September 24, 2018 in Washington, DC.

Avenatti called for an FBI investigation into Swetnick's allegations. Well, he's had an opportunity to be heard; he can certainly have an opportunity to be heard further by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and others; I want my client to have an opportunity to be heard.

Kavanaugh previously has denied these allegations after Avenatti first revealed some of the details earlier this week. "Somebody yelled down the hall, 'Brett Kavanaugh just put his penis in Debbie's face, '" she said.
