Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas sat out two practices last week but still managed to finish with two interceptions in the team's 24-13 win over the Dallas Cowboys Sunday. Elliott had momentary flashes, busting off a few long runs, but they were too infrequent for Dallas' stagnant offense.

"I had a poor performance today", Elliott said during the post-game according to Todd Archer of ESPN.com.

Prescott finished 19 of 34 for 168 yards and a 3-yard shovel pass TD to Tavon Austin with 7:11 remaining.

Duane Brown is unquestionably Seattle's top offensive lineman, a proven veteran left tackle who has become the leader of the unit despite playing only 12 games in a Seahawks uniform. Passing to Elliott has been anemic this season.

"You can say whatever, but at the end of the day, when you've got the ball in your hands, that's the team in your hands", Elliott said. Elliott had 127 yards on 16 carries. He was in every step of the way, every aspect of the game, the communications and the focus and the adjustments, and I was with him on some of those things on the sidelines.

Seattle was able to convert on key plays offensively, and Dallas turned the ball over three times while managing just one touchdown late as they were in desperation mode trying to get back into the game. Quarterback Russell Wilson was efficient, completing 16 of 26 passes attempted for two touchdowns and a 109.8 passer rating.

For the first time this season, the Seattle Seahawks played complementary football.

Solid performances abounded - Chris Carson logged over 100 yards rushing and the first touchdown by a running back in almost an entire year.
