John Terry will get to make the decision over what job he takes should he opt to return to Chelsea as a coach, says Maurizio Sarri.

Chelsea will be aiming to maintain their impressive 100% start to the Premier League season when they welcome Neil Warnock's newly promoted Cardiff to Stamford Bridge tomorrow afternoon.

Chelsea have enjoyed a stellar start to the new Premier League season, and they'll look to keep their momentum going on Saturday.

"I remember in my first season in Naples, the average points per match during the season was 2.28, I think". I don't know (the chances) he told me other things, he told me he wants to play but I don't know, I have to speak to him again.

"At the moment I can answer Manchester City or Liverpool", the Italian Sarri, was quoted as saying, while revealing the teams he thinks were true title contenders.

Freeland is expected to answer questions from reporters later this afternoon. It's unclear how long the talks are scheduled for this week.

"The last time I spoke with him he told me that he wants to play for another season", said head coach Sarri, speaking ahead of Saturday's clash with Cardiff, when Chelsea will be targeting a fifth win from five Premier League games.

"Mentally the match after the (international) break it is very hard; materially because we will play against a very physical team", he said. For sure he would be a point of reference for me and everyone here I think.

Eden Hazard's hat-trick for Chelsea against Cardiff has seen him join an exclusive club alongside Blues legends Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. "I've been trying to stress this number to my players [to avoid a drop-off in performance] and telling them my experience in this situation".

"My mind was always like that, always when I arrive here my plan was to stay here as long as possible and now I am here five years I hope stay five more!"

"Sometimes I do it here at Cobham, sometimes at home". If he wants to help us I am happy [for him to do so]. "It's 12 or 13 hours, but for me it's not working".
