Mahershala Ali will play Wayne Hays, an Arkansas state police detective in the third season of "True Detective".

Like the first season, True Detective season 3 looks as twisty and dreamy as could be, chronicling a detective's grappling with a case over several decades. "I want to know the whole story". "That wasn't a fear for me", Hays says in the trailer's voiceover. My job... there's no certainty. In addition to Ali, this season also features Carmen Ejogo, Scoot McNairy, Mamie Gummer, Stephen Dorff, Michael Greyeyes, Jon Tenney, Deborah Ayorinde, Rhys Wakefield, Sarah Gadon, Emily Nelson, Brandon Flynn, Michael Graziadei, Josh Hopkins, Jodi Balfour and Cyborg himself, Ray Fisher. The story covers three different time periods, all teased in the minute-long trailer. Saulnier left the production after two episodes due to scheduling conflicts, with veteran TV director Daniel Sackheim sharing shooting duties with show creator Nic Pizzolatto for the remainder of the season. A year later, the second season debuted with Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, and Vince Vaughn.

Wounded Trump: Ex-lawyer 'made up stories'
Cohen's actions reflect a pattern of lies and dishonesty over a significant period of time", said Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani . Both she and McDougal claim to have slept with Trump in 2006, a year after his wife Melania gave birth to their son Barron.

I can't help but get excited for the third season of True Detective, even after being horribly disappointed by the lethargic second season. Pizzolatto wrote every single episode, save for episode 4, which he co-wrote with David Milch.

HBO revealed the teaser trailer for True Detective season 3 following the gripping finale of the psychological thriller miniseries Sharp Objects on Sunday, August 26.
