Pearl Jam continued their high-profile protest against Donald Trump with a poster, designed by bassist Jeff Ament, which shows the USA president's dead body being picked at by an eagle outside of a burning White House. There's photos of the poster below.

The poster was drawn by DE artist "Bobby Draws Skullz Brown" and posted to Pearl Jam's official Twitter account, as well as the artist's Instagram feed. However, the illustration of Donald Trump has proven to be a real sore point of contention.

The event was a benefit to urge fans to get out and vote in the Montana Senate election in November, with Ament known to be a firm supporter of current Democratic Senator Jon Tester. His opponent, Republican Matt Rosendale, called the artwork an act of violence.

Surprisingly, Drumpf himself hasn't found the poster important enough to tweet about, although his willfully blind followers have been more than eager to express how they'll never listen to Pearl Jam again, not that they've been any good since the "90s anyway".

Tester's release for the fundraising package also claimed he and Ament grew up in Big Sandy Montana together and "continue to be close friends".

Fox News" Chad Pergram also denounced the artwork, saying: "This poster from Pearl Jam is disgusting. It depicts a dead President Trump & a burning WH. In July, the infamous giant floating balloon that depicted Donald Trump as a diaper-wearing baby was floated outside the band's London show, only days after it floated next to Parliament. It depicts a dead President Trump and a burning White House.

Tester's campaign did not immediately return a request for comment from Variety, but a spokesman told The Washington Post that they did not have input on the poster's design. "And we don't condone violence of any kind".

The Missoula concert was part of Pearl Jam's "The Away Shows" tour.

"Used to be one of my favorite band and I always knew you guys were a little far left, but this takes it to a whole new level", one commenter wrote. "I have no problem with a difference of opinion, but this is disgusting". Lifetime fan but this is the end.
