Nail salon workers in Brooklyn squared off with two customers, using broomsticks, fists and dustpans to pummel the pair after one of them refused to pay for a "f-ked up" brow job, witnesses and cops said. The release of video of the incident at the Happy Red Apple Nail Salon led to protests outside the salon on Monday.

Police attended the scene and arrested a salon worker along with one of the customers on Friday night - however it remains unclear as to which one. Zheng was released from jail on her own recognizance after a hearing in Brooklyn Criminal Court, cops said. Maduka, who originally posted the video, wrote on Facebook, "Share this cause the cops chose to arrest the black people but not the Chinese people who ganged up on them". Thomas says that when she refused to pay for the eyebrow job that she thought was done poorly, an argument ensued and escalated.

Police said Zhing was taken to the hospital before being arrested because of visible injuries to her face and body, PIX 11 reports.

"They viciously attacked the grandmother and the granddaughter, beat them with sticks as if they were animals and threw acetone on them", said community activist Anthony Beckford. She later posted the video on Facebook, where it has quickly gone viral.
