Dead fetus found on plane at LaGuardia Airport

One of the attendants noticed a large amount of toilet paper in one of the plane's lavatory toilets.

A dead fetus has been discovered by cleaners on an airplane toilet.

The gruesome discovery was made around 7:30 a.m. aboard an out-of-service American Airlines flight at Hangar 5, the sources said.

Flight Tracker reports Flight 1942 left Charlotte at 8:56 p.m. Monday and arrived at LaGuardia at 10:44 p.m., about 20 minutes behind schedule.

While an NYC Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of the baby's death, American Airlines tweeted that Terminal B could experience delays Tuesday morning.
