Two days after becoming the first player from Pakistan to score a double century in a one-day global, Zaman reached yet another milestone as he became the quickest player to reach 1,000 runs ODIs.Zaman broke the previous record of 21 innings held by Viv Richards, who reached the mark in his 18th innings.

Pakistan completed a 5-0 series whitewash over hosts Zimbabwe with a 131-run victory in the fifth and final ODI at Bulawayo on Sunday.

Zaman passed 1 000 ODI runs in just his 18th innings, breaking the record of 21 innings held by five players, including Viv Richards and team-mate Babar Azam.

There were a multitude of records broken by the Fakhar Zaman and Pakistan during his 210-run innings in the fourth ODI and that trend continued on Sunday.

Liverpool complete deal for Alisson
Heading into this summer's transfer window, Alisson had become their priority, with De Gea happy and settled at Manchester United. Alisson was Brazil's number one at the World Cup and is highly regarded as one of the best goalies in the world right now.

Speaking after the conclusion of the ODI series against Zimbabwe, Sarfraz said that the series aided the team's preparations for the Asia Cup as the side learnt a lot during the tour. Pakistan ended their innings at 364/4 in 50 overs.

Zaman finished on 515 runs from five matches at an average of 257.50 and broke the previous record held by Salman Butt, who had scored 451 runs in a five-match series against Bangladesh in 2007-08.

The duo have added 705 runs in this series, with four 100-plus stands. The boundaries did dry up for a few overs post the dismissal but Imam at the other end was in his elements again to bring up his third hundred of the series - a feat that only got overshadowed by Zaman's heroics. He sits behind only Indian captain Virat Kohli, who scored 558 runs earlier this year against South Africa. Imam, a nephew of batting legend Inzamam, scored his 4th ODI century in 9 innings. Azam hit nine fours and two sixes and completed his eighth ODI century.

The 600-run plus opening partnerships that Imam and Fakhar have put together over the course of the series is also a new record for ODI cricket.

This win was Pakistan's second-biggest ODI win behind the 255-run win over Ireland in 2015.
