World's Ugliest Dog title goes to English bulldog named Zsa Zsa

A 9-year-old English bulldog, Zsa Zsa, was named the victor of the 2018 World's Ugliest Dog contest in the San Francisco Bay Area.

What a face! Zsa Zsa the English bulldog took the title of 2018's World's Ugliest Dog home after the hilarious annual contest that took place in the San Francisco Bay Area on the night of June 23.

Zsa Zsa and her large tongue not only beat out the other dogs, but she brought ome $1500.

That prediction proved true as Zsa Zsa took home the crown along with the $1,500 winner's prize for her owner, Megan Brainard of Anoka, Minnesota.

Brainard found Zsa Zsa on a pet-finding website, according to the contest bio.

The nine-year-old's muscular, rounded front legs and an underbite made her standout from the rest of the crowd.

As well as Zsa Zsa, this year's competitors included a blackhead-covered Chinese-crested dachshund mutt and a bulldog bitser with excess wrinkly skin.

The California fair tradition dates back 30 years.

Chase, a 14-year-old Chinese Crested-Harke mix from Neath in the United Kingdom, traveled further than any other contestent to compete in the World's Ugliest Dog competition. However, Icky, a regular contestant, has used his own distinguishing looks to help raise more than $10,000 (8,994 euros) for several AIDS-related charities.
