Universal and Amblin's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom stomped into North American theaters Thursday night, earning a promising $15.3 million in previews.

Jurassic World 2 will arrive in 4,475 theaters, making it the second widest release in history, behind last year's Despicable Me 3 (4,529 theaters), edging out this year's Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War by just one theater (4,474 theaters). Playing god with the DNA of long-extinct animals sounded good on paper, but it led to a series of the most ill-advised theme park openings of all time, countless casualties, and the abject shirtlessness of Jeff Goldblum. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.

The Michigan product, though, likes how the current Lakers are trying to play as fast as the Showtime Lakers did. Newman will join Kansas teammate Svi Mykhailiuk with the Lakers, selected 47th overall in Thursday's draft.

So, what makes Blue tick?

The hilarious new video points out some of the film's many flaws, like Billy's unexplained parachute, the lazy ending and, as it points out several times, a velociraptor saying "Alan".

So the TL;DR here is that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will probably fall far short of its predecessor at the box office on opening weekend, but given the circumstances, it'll still perform pretty swimmingly.
