Revealed images of the Pixel 3 XL leave nothing to the imagination

Estimates suggest Google sold fewer than 4 million Pixel phones in all of 2017. Meanwhile, sales of Apple's new iPhone models have been known to climb into the double-digit millions during their first weekend of sales alone. We sincerely hope that Google steps things up in 2018 though, because a new leak from last night reveals a next-generation Google Pixel 3 XL that deserves some serious attention.

The rear looks similar to last year's Pixel 2 XL but does have small changes, with its rear glass portion now covering a small narrow portion of the outer edge of the smartphone. It's not the same "G" logo that appears on all of Google's Pixel phones, but as 9to5Google notes, this logo has appeared on other Pixel prototypes, which makes these images seem even more legit.

Google is due to launch its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL handsets later this year and we're now started to see leaks concerning these handsets frequently.

The fact that Google is sticking with a single rear camera is interesting - I'd personally welcome a telephoto-style lens to augment the capabilities of the primary camera, though given the Pixel 2's wide advantage in still images, I bet Google's going to find ways to wow us with a single camera on the new phone.

Apple said it never took information from Facebook (AAPL)
Users will now be able to get a few summary of the time they spend on the phone and how long they are on certain apps. For years , Facebook has followed users around the web with the help of its tiny thumbs-up button.

Photos have been shared to the XDA Forums which appear to show an unannounced smartphone with an unlocked bootloader and a notch at the top of the display. Dual rear cameras have become the bread and butter of the industry and, while most implementations are mostly useless, one would expect Pixel 3 to sport one such setup.

Inspired by the leaks, phone mockup artist PhoneDesigner posted renders of the Pixel 3 XL on Twitter. This way, the display controller component can be hidden behind the screen itself, rather than beneath it like most phones. This prototype has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Here's what to expect, whether anything revolutionary is coming down the pipe, and if Google fans will be satisfied with the upcoming offering. Another highlight of Pixel 3 XL will be a glass back design, though it is unclear at this point if the phone will support wireless charging.

We are still some time away from an official announcement, but we're gradually building up a picture of what the Google Pixel 3 will be like.
