Meghan Markle has appeared alongside Prince Harry, who she married three weeks ago, to celebrate the Queen's official birthday at Trooping the Colour.

The series brought into focus the role the prince played in supporting the young Queen after she came to the throne following the early death of her father King George VI in 1952, when she was just 25.

Not only was Saturday's pageantry a party for Queen Elizabeth II herself, it was also the first time the newly minted Duchess of Sussex has ever been photographed with so many royals.

Four royals arrived on horseback in full dress uniform in their capacity as royal colonels: Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Andrew and Princess Anne the Princess Royal.

The Queen, whose real birthday is on April 21, looked vigorous as she keenly observed the event, smiling at both the jets and the children.

With the streets lined with crowds waving flags, the parade moves from Buckingham Palace and down the Mall to Horse Guard's Parade, alongside members of the royal family on horseback and in carriages.

Roseanne wants to personally call people she's offended to apologize
She has a history of diving into political conspiracy theories on Twitter, and that's how she ended her Memorial Day weekend. One message she re-tweeted on Wednesday falsely accused the Hungary-born Jewish billionaire of collaborating with the Nazis.

Warriors' Iguodala expected to play in Game 3
There is some heft to the argument that the refs stole Game 1 of the NBA Finals from the Cavaliers and handed it to the Warriors. So we're not going to relax at all because this team's been down and out before and counted out by the media.

Winning Lottery Ticket Sold In London
This win comes just one day after a LOTTO 6/49 ticket somewhere in the province won the $9.6 million jackpot on Wednesday's draw. Even though everyone across the nation was equally as unlucky as everyone else, there were several $1 million prize winners.

The ceremony has commemorated the birthday of the sovereign for more than 250 years and also functions as a display of army drills, music and horsemanship.

All eyes were on newly-weds Prince Harry and his wife Meghan, who made their first appearance together since apparently slipping away for their honeymoon last week.

Royal blog Royal Central reports that this is the largest royal family gathering so far this year.

Meghan Markle will participate in her first solo engagements with the Queen next week, but journey there is just as big of a deal as the events themselves.

Although the Duke has officially retired, his roles within the Royal Family continue.
