The Iranian diplomatic chief is slated to visit Moscow and Brussels after his short stay in Beijing. Officials from Germany, Britain and France are due to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in Brussels on Tuesday, and European Union leaders are scheduled to discuss Iran at an informal dinner in Sofia on Wednesday.

The 2015 arrangement hunted to suppress Iran's nuclear programme in exchange for its lifting of economic sanctions.

"China is by far the first economic partner of Iran".

"China will firmly safeguard multilateralism and worldwide agreements", said Wang Yi, before vowing that China, as one of the six signatories, will fully implement the Iranian nuclear deal, Xinhua reports.

As he arrived in Beijing, Zarif said Tehran was "ready for all option [s]", according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

It reiterated that Iran was preparing to resume "industrial-scale" uranium enrichment "without any restrictions" unless Europe provided solid guarantees that it could maintain trade ties despite renewed U.S. sanctions.

Trump hit back Saturday evening, tweeting that the accord had failed to contain Iran's militarism. They will also discuss overcoming Israeli resistance to Iran's military presence in Syria, TASS reported Monday.

The 28-nation bloc and its biggest members are trying to preserve the deal after Donald Trump last week announced the U.S.'s withdrawal from the 2015 agreement.

Zarif further censured the United States under Trump for developing the habit of voicing opposition to global deals and regulations.

"Tomorrow in Brussels, we are going to have a conversation about what we can do to help United Kingdom firms and help European firms have confidence that they can still do business".

He also said Iran should receive economic benefits promised in the accord, even if the USA reinstates sanctions. But analysts said Iran was determined to maintain the moral high ground in the coming weeks.

"They have chose to pull out, we don't think that is necessarily the right thing to do, given that Iran is in compliance with the JCPOA, so we want to hear a little bit more from Washington about their proposals".
