So much for Stephen Curry no longer facing restrictions both with a bench role and minutes. Still, whether or not Curry plays to his best, his return in Game 2 is great news for the Warriors.

Despite the loss, there was some reason for encouragement in the New Orleans camp as it only lost by five points as opposed to 22 points in Game 1.

The Raptors on the other hand beat the Washington Wizards in a closely contested series that ended in six games. On top of his impressive shooting, he also accrued seven rebounds, two assists and three steals.

He scored 19 points, but shot just 6-of-19 from the floor and 3-of-9 on 3-pointers.

"To prepare for this one, we've got to prepare just like it's our last game".

But despite two days or rest and treatment, coach Brad Stevens said Brown is "very doubtful" for Game 2 on Thursday night. The Pelicans retooled their roster to move faster and be more efficient by pairing Rajon Rondo and Nikola Mirotic with Davis and Jrue Holiday in hopes of avoiding a similar Game 3 collapse.
