"What we've got to do is get AD more involved in the game", Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said.

If the Warriors can play with a similar intensity and pace, then Game 2 should be a lot of the same.

While Draymond had an enormous game, his fellow All-Stars Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant did more than their fair share as well, carrying most of the load of the Warriors' offense with their red-hot shooting. Well, that carries a risk that could jeopardize the Warriors' entire postseason. His 15 rebounds helped the Warriors out-rebound the Pelicans 65-46, a huge disparity on the glass.

Luckily, being smart has never been much of an issue for these Warriors.

Game 2 between the Warriors and Pelicans will be on Tuesday night at 10:30 p.m.

Stephen Curry hasn't played in a game for the Golden State Warriors since March 23 against the Atlanta Hawks.

"If it were up to me, I would have played for about 20 minutes", Curry told the network.

"You've been out five weeks and we're playing in the playoffs, I don't think one scrimmage is enough, even though he feels great, he wants to play and pleaded his case".

He was scratched from the lineup before Game 1, but told ESPN he was ready to go. Does that mean the Pelicans can win the series balling like that? His shooting and ability to run Golden State's offense has been obviously missed in his absence.

A Game 2 comeback gives Curry another chance to scrimmage and another full-contact scrimmage - another couple of opportunities for Curry to convince the Warriors that his knee has fully healed and that he will have the full complement of his powers for the rest of the postseason.

Stephen Curry is on the brink of returning to the court. "But we're going to sit him tonight and very likely he'll play Game 2".

"We have to protect him from himself and his own competitive desire", Kerr said.

The Golden State Warriors reminded everyone that they're still the best team in the National Basketball Association by blowing out the New Orleans Pelicans, 123-101, in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

The good news for Warriors fans is that Curry's return is imminent. Probably not. But it's sure going to be fun to watch them try.
